"Waterway" is an abstracted landscape design, mimicking an areal view of a river. We love the idea of water as a connector. In this piece the two separate metal constructed panels are brought together by the meandering waterway. This piece incorporates some tricky bending and welding of sheet metal to create a hexagonal slope with the waterway lining up through the panels. The painting portion seen through the cutout in the metal is textural oil on canvas with a slight shift in blues and teals as the slope of the metalwork varies.
