Shallows
description
Shallows is a large scale circular piece inspired by ocean colors ranging from shallow to deeper waters. The water appears to be swirling which many people liken to a portal or fittingly for us in Florida, a hurricane. This piece involves rolled aluminum, hand sanded bar, with multiple layers of painting on wood. The top layer is finished with a high sculpted gloss medium with adds to the rippled waves of the surface.
