SAVE US

SAVE US

description

When the veil of order crumbles and the weariness of decay sets in, the soul of society thrives, or dies based solely on the affirmations of its unique individuals upholding, what society is there left? “Save Us” provides therapeutic movements of feeling nature for urban millennials who fail to realize the time animals spend in rectangular spaces. Emerging components include a recognizable face, even animals, but the images still feel like a continuation, exploring extremes, humanity, cruelty, subtlety, and exaggeration—playfully balancing somewhere between the familiar and the strange. In the last vestiges of a dying culture, through different mediums such as newspaper cut-outs, plastic modeling, poster paints, paper mesh, and glitter, I aim to imbue the embers of expression in the hope of twilight of a society that rests on those still willing to write on the walls.
