Every year more than a million wildebeests take on a perilous trek from the Serengeti park to the Maasai Mara in a search for water and grazing land. It is one of the most spectacular migrations on Earth, a cycle of self-renewal for the species to survive. So much we can learn for ourselves from such a display of resilience, in a time of Covid19. The painting captures the months of the calving season.
