One step closer to zero waste

One step closer to zero waste

description

My work is research into developing techniques to reduce waste fabrics in the fashion industry, bring it to zero asteroid. I discovered a technique through analysis of waste fabrics. The fabrics I reuse are thrown away during garment mass manufacturing. I found a way designers can use the area of fabric they usually throw away. My artwork is a collection or selection of garments made with salvaged fabrics. I can also include illustrations that show designers how to locate useable areas and how to use them. I focus on the use of same shape pieces found in the garment pattern areas. To design with these areas will help the fashion industry become closer to zero waste. My artwork is a regenerative process leading to a sustainable fashion industry.
