Noel is based on a cozy and warm memory of the festive Christmas time the artist spent in Quebec, while attending the University there. It is from the 'Abstract Photo Reality' series, a proprietary concept of painted skies, created in 2015 by JuanCarlos rLora. The message behind 'Abstract Photo Reality' is that of hope and positivity, inspiring humanity to change our destructive ways, making it Art Against Pollution. After extensive research to see if this concept of painted skies was being applied by any other artist, we came to learn that it was in fact not used by anyone, thus making JuanCarlos the first. The way JuanCarlos juxtaposed realism with abstraction in the sky, indeed hasn't been done before. Several articles in prestigious publications, such as artnet news, have been published about this concept.
