Inspired by fish traps and other "primitive" art. The delicate painted black locust stems seem to give off a vibration against the Indian yellow background. The concerns of the pan-Indian mind - how to depict in physical form the underlying reality, or in other words, how to make the sublime take physical form - are what I'm after here. Of course, using that "mystical" Indian yellow, one of my favourite colours, makes the task, and end result, all the more purposeful.
