Estuary is a piece inspired by arial maps of waterways. This piece meanders from light blues to darker blues, with a sculpted gloss finish over the painting portion. Estuaries are a crucial part of the ecosystem in South Florida where we live and are currently experiencing issues with pollution and toxic algae formations due to industrial dumping into the water. The piece involves 3D aluminum construction with painting on canvas. The metals are up to 50% recycled and the painting is created on recycled canvas.
